International School Award
The International School Award is rewarded by the British Council to schools that help celebrate the international diversity within the community.
At Bursted we have held a number of International Weeks where the children will look at different countries, their traditions, language and culuture. (Photos can be seen in our photo diary) Some of our curriculum has also got an international link to it when we study the Greeks and the Aztecs for example.
We are very lucky to be working in partnership with a school in Madrid - Dr Tolosa Latour school - where the chidlren will be able to talk to the children via videoconferencing and emails.
