Inclusion at Bursted Wood
At Bursted Wood, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school for all pupils. All staff have high expectations of the outcomes for all pupils; this is reflected through our School Values, Ethos and Teaching and Learning Policy. We currently hold the Inclusion Quality Mark (2019-2022) and the British Dyslexia Association’s Dyslexia Friendly Schools Quality Mark (2019-2022). We are extremely proud to have been assessed as having met the standards to be a Centre of Excellence for Inclusion by the Inclusion Quality Mark, and look forward to working with other schools to share ideas for inclusive practice.
